The suit of Walker County bingo needs to be resolved

25 June, 2008- Jasper- The legality of Walker County’s electronic bingo hall is supposed to be sorted out in a year or it may take some more time than a year as the lawyers said today. But the judge thinks that his period is too long for the pending decisions for four bingo lawsuit.

The judge Braxton Kittrell informed about the dozen lawyers who are involved in the lawsuits that they hope that they will give the judgment much before the time.

Also in order to discuss the status of the lawsuits Kitrell held the hearing today. The lawsuits which are filed challenges various aspects of electronic bingo like how the charities have joined together in the bingo hall and whether the bingo halls are following the rules or not.

The Walker Sheriff John Mark Tirey attorney Bill Adair proposed the timeline for pre-trial motions and discovered and preparation which will end in the 9th June, 2009 trial. But there are many other attorneys who believe that it would take a longer time.
