In coming months most of the airlines such as Cathay Pacific, British Airways, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic has offered their passengers a choice of playing online games with some audio and video entertainment.

Virgin Atlantic is the airways which have been providing its customers to play online games since 2 years and also have its own games portal to provide the gaming facility to the passengers.

Delta Airlines of USA has introduced Texas Holdem last year in the flight within the country and it became very popular among the travelers. It is also planning to introduce a wide variety of games like bingo, blackjack, poker, roulette etc.

British Airways and Singapore airlines will forbid the use of system in flights in and out of America as the US govt. has prohibited the foreign gaming companies in US.

As per a study by USA Dept. of Transportation all the flights in the USA which are running behind the wall of protection of UIGEA can divide 300 millions dollars in a year if gambling is permitted on domestic and international flights.

Although the flight attendants union have raised some concerns about this move as it may result in the unruly behavior among the passengers.
