Government landed a helping hand to UK Bingo Clubs

June 28th, 2008

25th June 2008, Wednesday- The government of UK is agreed to give long awaited help to the Bingo Clubs in United Kingdom by relieving the gaming machines from the high stakes amount that should be allowed.

The Gambling Act 2005 has limited the machines which were classified under B3 allowed in clubs to 4. The loss that occurred due to the revenue that can be generated during the intervals is the great concern.

The response to this that the Bingo Association has published shows the positive reaction without missing to mention the VAT issue as a further concession which government should consider in order to helping the bingo industry. Although there is no date decided to implement this but the association is hopeful to get it soon.

This help from the government will give a great help to the Bingo industry in UK and also motivate them to generate more revenue and use it to expand the business.
