At Manchester International Festival (MIF), a bingo story described as “emotional” and “tender” will be shown in 2009. As reported, Neil Bartlett said that the show will be on stage at the Royal Exchange Theatre, next summer.

The artistic director at MIF, Alex Poots said that the title of the piece is Everyone Loves a Winner. This story is just all about “a well-loved but overlooked pastime – bingo” including the viewers involvement. This year other interactive bingo-themed shows have also made their way on to television screens together with Bingo Night Live and Bingo Lotto with Joe Pasquale. Indeed, cash prizes will be given out to members of the audience as the Manchester play unfolds.
