A part-time hospital assistant of 64 years old has won a huge amount of 639,000 pounds by playing bingo. This lady whose luck was at peak is from Newton Poppleford but wanted to remain anonymous and she wins this amount while she was playing at Mecca Club at North Street Exeter.

She is still in shock after winning such a big amount and told that out of excitement she has 2-3 medicinal brandies and woke up with a heavy head. She added that she was grateful that it was a bank holiday on Monday so that she got some time to digest and actually accept her win. It was the first time that Exeter club has paid such a big winning amount to any of its member.

The lady kept on saying that she could not believe that she had won such a big amount and whether it has really happened to her or she was dreaming and also added that it is a nice feeling after winning.

There was other related news of a Yorkshire woman, who had won the amount of GBP 187,000 while she was playing at Gala Club in Doncaster.
